Oshkosh Defense, LLC (NYSE: OSK) will be sponsoring an event hosted by
the Wisconsin Procurement Institute (WPI) on Monday, October 24, 2016
from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Alumni
Center. Titled “Working with DoD – Building New Opportunities for
Wisconsin Manufacturers”, the event aims at promoting business growth
for local manufacturers seeking government contract opportunities.
The event will provide business leaders with access to senior
representatives and government officials responsible for program
management, oversight and budgets totaling billions of dollars. The
event will also feature speeches and panels focusing on best practices
for working with the U.S. government, discussing new and existing
opportunities and building relationships. Among the presenters are Mr.
Scott Davis, the U.S. Army's program executive officer for Combat
Support and Combat Service Support (PEO CS&CSS), as well as executives
from Oshkosh Defense, LLC and Fincantieri Marinette Marine, two of
Wisconsin’s largest defense suppliers. U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin will
give opening remarks.
